By providing unique floral designs and personal service Bloomster’s
has delighted many customers based in San Jose over the past nineteen years. “We assist many interior designers with florals and
plant designs for their projects, however our primary business base is to the residents and professionals throughout the Bay Area,”
says owner Kren Rasmussen.
Within time Bloomster’s has positioned itself as the florist of choice for those with discriminating taste and a respected
design source within the local floral retail industry. Kren was educated at the University of the Pacific in Business
Administration and at the University of Copenhagen in International Business and Economics earning his CPA degree.
“I grew up assisting my father who owned his own landscaping business and as a result developed a strong horticultural background
and it had always been a family dream to own our own flower shop.” Prior to opening Bloomster’s Kren learned from and assisted
the finest floral artists including working with Erik Bering, florist to the Danish Royal Family and assisted many other florists
with numerous community events.
The Bloomster’s store is located in the Almaden Valley of San Jose where the Rasmussen family continues to live. Our services
include, but are not limited to, installation of permanent and living plants, permanent designs and assistance with accessories.
Since his brother Torben is now in the landscaping business service, brothers still work together with plant and yard design for
many customers replacing or putting in for the first time client’s yards, patios and plants.
We are proud of the fact that we are on the Preferred Vendor’s listing for many of the fine hotels, golf and country clubs
throughout the entire Bay Area. Kren states, “I strongly believe that the services we provide directly improve the quality of
life of our clients and feel that our expertise and creativity helps bring success to all the projects we participate in.”
